Infant Massage
What is Infant Massage
Infant massage often referred to as Baby massage provides a wonderful opportunity to express your love whilst meeting the need for touch and affection that is essential for the healthy development of babies.
During a baby massage course we draw from both the Indian and Swedish massage traditions as well as incorporating principles from yoga and reflexology.
The primary principles of Infant Massage are to promote nurturing touch and communication. This is why baby massage is recommended to be carried out by the parents or primary caregivers.

Infant massage is a long standing tradition across many cultures and has been practiced in the UK since the late 1990’s.

Baby massage course are suitable from new-born to 12 months.

Each week we will go over a new baby massage routine and after week one we will review previous baby massage strokes. We will learn about colic routines, gentle movements and massage for the growing child. Theory around the benefits of baby massage will be shared during each class.
